Product Code:SAE AMS3345
Title:Silicone Rubber, 1000 Psi (6.90 Mpa) Tensile Strength, 45-55
Issuing Committee:Ams Ce Elastomers Committee
Scope:This specification covers a silicone rubber in the form of sheet, strip, tubing, molded shapes, and extrusions. These products have been used typically for parts required to operate or seal from -90 to +205 degrees C (-130 to +400 degrees F), compounded especially for high strength, but usage is not limited to such applications. Silicone elastomer is resistant to deterioration by weathering and aircraft piston engine oil and remains flexible over the temperature range noted. This rubber is not normally suitable for use in contact with gasoline or aromatic fuels and low-aniline-point petroleum-base fluids due to excessive swelling of the elastomer.

Product Code:SAE AIR1906
Title:Estimation of One-Third Octave Band Lateral Attenuation of Sound From Jet-Propelled Airplanes
Issuing Committee:A-21 Aircraft Noise Measure Noise Aviation Emission Modeling
Scope: Data presented in this AIR are in terms of differences between one-third-octave-band free-field sound pressure levels and are intended for use in estimating far-field aircraft noise. Allowance may be made for the acoustic impedance of the ground surface and sound pressure levels at any height above the ground plane may be estimated. In estimating the long-term time averaged sound level at several locations around an airport served by a mix of airplane types under a variety of atmospheric conditions, airplane operational weights, and flight procedures, it would be more appropriate to use the method of prediction for lateral attenuation given in reference 1.
